Manaberu Japanese Language Center ("we", "us", "our") operates this website (manaberujlc.com). When you use our site — apply for a course, take one of our free quizzes, generate a CV, or contact us — some personal information reaches us. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, why we collect it, and how it's kept safe.

1. What information we collect

a) When you apply for a course

Name, date of birth, mobile number, email, educational background, Japanese-language exam results (if any), and your preferred session/area — kept so we can process your admission.

b) When you use the CV Maker (履歴書 / Rirekisho)

Everything you enter in the form (name, date of birth, address, phone, email, photo, education/work history, etc.) is used only in that moment to generate your PDF and email it to you — none of it is stored in our database. We keep only your name (and the submission date), so we can see how many students are using the tool. The generated PDF is sent straight to the email address you provide, and your uploaded photo is deleted from our server immediately after the PDF is created.

c) When you take a free online quiz (Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji, Vocabulary, Grammar, Particle, etc.)

Only your name and score are saved, so we can see which topics students struggle with most and improve our course content. For technical reasons, your IP address is also briefly recorded.

d) When you use the Contact form

Your name, email/phone, and message — used only to reply to your inquiry.

e) Automatically collected information

We use Google Analytics to understand overall site traffic (which pages are visited, which devices are used, etc.). This does not personally identify you.

2. Why we collect this information

• To process your course admission and visa application
• To generate your CV / Rirekisho
• To respond to your questions or inquiries
• To track free-quiz progress and improve teaching quality
• To make the website easier and more useful to use

3. Where information is stored, and for how long

All information is stored in our secured database and can only be accessed by authorized Manaberu JLC staff through a password-protected admin panel. Application-related data is kept for as long as your admission/visa process is active. Quiz results are generally kept for reviewing teaching quality.

4. What we don't do

• We never sell your personal information to any third party
• We never rent or share your information for advertising purposes
• We don't send you unnecessary marketing messages

5. Third-party services

Our website uses a few third-party services, such as WhatsApp (to chat with us directly — clicking it takes you to WhatsApp, governed by their own privacy policy), Google Analytics (for visitor statistics), and YouTube (some video testimonials may be embedded). These services operate under their own privacy policies.

6. Your rights

You can contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, or to request that we delete it (as long as it isn't tied to an ongoing admission/visa process). Reach us using the details below.
